Here are a few security tools to help make your systems more secure
against attack from hackers. These are supplied for system administrators
to test their own machines for weaknesses.
If you attempt to use these programs on other peoples systems
without appropriate authorisation, you may find your self extremely unpopular,
or the subject of legal action, or both! I accept no responsibility whatsoever
for what people use these programs for.

Crack 4.1
When given a password file (/etc/passwd on a C1 system, or /etc/security/passwd.adjunct
on a SunOS C2 system) Crack will attempt to guess users passwords by using
a using various permutations of english and other words from the included
dictionary. The importance of password security can not be understated,
as many system attacks rely on retrieving password files by various means
and then cracking a users password to gain access to a system. Most hackers
will use Crack to break your password file, so if you are able to get all
your users passwords unbreakable by crack, you are making it harder for
hackers.
